If the cookie banner doesn’t disappear when selecting an option, it could be due to connecting with http instead of https.

Solution

  1. Add a valid certificate

  2. Configure redirect from http to https.

 

Quick Hack! Not to be done at customer!

  1. replace http with https

  2. if the site doesn’t have a valid certificate a pop comes. Select "give more information" then "proceed to site (unsafe)"

  3. You should now be able to click away the popup
