Cannot view documents in SE mode, on Citrix or RDS

Problem

When viewing documents in Manager the document does not display.

Manager is running as a client connected to a server, possibly in a Citrix environment or RDS environment.

Solution

Likely the server does not have pdf viewing software.

Option 1

Ensure server, Citrix server or RDS server has installed pdf viewer, e.g. Adobe Reader.

Option 2

Go to Settings menu in Manager and select Appearance. Scroll down to the option External document viewer and set it to yes.

By setting this option to yes, the document will not be displayed in the Manager, but instead downloaded to the local environment and displayed on the users computer. Installed (default) pdf viewer on the user’s computer will be used.
