This guide describe how to migrate the Assert4#<site> database to a higher version. This may be required after an update of software and user gets an error message in the web viewer that backing model has changed.

Step-by-step guide


Follow these steps to migrate a site's database to a higher version.

  1. Start Assert Manager.
  2. Select the site to update.
  3. Select meny Tools/Options.
  4. In the options dialogue select upgrade.

    On this screen you should see a message that the current site is not up to date and needs migration. Click the Update button and close the window.
  5. You will need to republish the site to make the update available to the end users in the web viewer.


If web viewer is connected directly to Manager site you will need to restart IIS.
